Look Good – From Front to Back – To Clasp

Some jewelry accessorizes.

Nancy Garland’s jewelry announces.

Her pieces don’t whisper elegance; they declare presence. They are bold, dimensional, impossible to ignore. The kind of statement jewelry that walks into a room before you do and lingers long after you’ve left.

And that’s exactly the point.

Nancy Garland Exclusive (NGE) was never designed for the timid. It was created for the woman who understands that style is not about shrinking, it’s about showing up fully.

Statement jewelry is intended to reflect the wearer’s personal style. It is as resolute, unique, or quaint as the person who puts it on. Bold, eye-catching designs that seem dramatic and oversized to some are just the kind of individuals the founder, Garland, has in mind when she creates her spectacular designs.

NGE collections are made by hand, with passion, personality, confidence, and with the aplome individual in mind. Because they are different and colorful could be the attraction that sets them apart.

“If you think my designs are too big, I am not the designer for you,” says Garland.

Garland is intentional with her craftsmanship. She admits they are large, vibrant, maybe daring, but made with precision and care. She boasts that they express personality, confidence, and mostly individuality.

“This does not mean everyone will like it, but it will be seen,” she continued.

Garland was reared in a home that embraced art and expression. Her father was a jazz lover. And her mother was drawn to style and alluring decorum. With a degree in Sociology and Philosophy, she spent 35 years as a parole and hearing officer, then unit supervisor. The same passion, communication skills, and consultation abilities fueled her devotion to NGE.

Garland proclaimed it was never her intention to make jewelry until going to an international bead and jewelry show with a friend. Once or twice a year, she would save up to treat herself to a luxury piece of jewelry from a local, high-end retailer. After accepting the invitation from her now business partner, Reggi Kemp, to attend the show, she was convinced she could make her own pieces; she had a vision.

“I can make this myself,” she pondered.

And she did. Starting with a stunning piece, she gifted herself. Someone admired it, told her she should sell them, and a dream was born.
