Interior Design Team Expands Responding to Greater Demand
Fort Worth, TX – Quorum Architects, a local commercial architecture and interior design firm,
announces the hiring of Interior Designer, Lupe Vega. With the addition of Vega, Quorum
increases the interior design team’s multi-family, hospitality and healthcare experience.
Vega, a Texas Tech University graduate, spent the last several years at a local interior design
firm working with developers on large scale multi-family projects, including senior living, higher
education and commercial. She gained healthcare experience while interning at Texas Tech
University Health Sciences Center – an institute dedicated to health care education, patient care,
and research.
At Quorum, Vega is expanding her repertoire with non-profit, corporate and municipal
assignments. While accustomed to managing projects from concept through construction, she’s
gaining knowledge of sustainable design practices as well as the firm’s preferred technical design
software.
“Lupe’s multifamily and hospitality design experience brings a well-rounded perspective to our
team,” says Principal and Director of Interior Design, Karin Taylor. “Her collaborative spirit,
positive attitude, and creative energy make her a natural fit within our studio culture.”
Living and working in Fort Worth allows Vega to enjoy weekends with her close-knit siblings and
extended family members in the Waxahachie area where she grew up and most of her family still
live.
“I like the family-like atmosphere cultivated by the friendly collaborative interaction among
employees, and I’m impressed by the firm’s strong commitment to community,” Vega says of
Quorum.
Vega serves as marketing chair for the Texas Tech Alumni Association which involves raising
scholarship funds for area students. Currently, wedding planning is her focus since Vega is
engaged to be married next year. Even with her busy schedule, Vega finds time each day to
devote to her first love Luna, a four-year-old Australian shepherd.
When asked what project she’s currently enjoying working on at Quorum, Vega enthusiastically
responds that she’s most excited about assisting with the conceptual design of a new facility that
is redefining the animal shelter experience.
