United Way of Tarrant County Announces New Director of Donor Relations

FORT WORTH, Texas (July 8, 2024) — United Way of Tarrant County (UWTC) announced
today the hiring of Eboney McCain, Esq., as the director of donor relations within the
Community Investment-Development organization. In this position, McCain will build and
manage relationships within a portfolio of individual major donors to support UWTC
programs.
Prior to joining UWTC, McCain worked as a partner/attorney for Perdue, Brandon, Fielder,
Collins, & Mott L.L.P. where she focused on collecting delinquent government receivables.
McCain successfully maintained business resulting in approximately $30 million in revenue
in Tarrant and surrounding counties, over the past 25 years.

UWTC’s executive vice president and chief development officer. “Eboney has a
demonstrated success in creating connections that foster lasting impact and create
meaningful change.”
McCain is a member of the Texas State Bar and currently sits on the Performing Arts Fort
Worth board of directors supporting Bass Performance Hall. She also coordinates
community events for the Fort Worth (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated and serves as
vice chair for Girls Inc. of Tarrant County.

more individuals to join us at the leadership level,” McCain stated. “I know my
contributions will have a positive impact in the community.”
McCain holds a Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M School of Law and a Bachelor of Science
in Business Management from Hampton University.
