North Texas Area Community Health Center: Bridging Healthcare Gaps in Texas

In the heart of Texas, where healthcare access can be the defining factor between life and death, the disparities in coverage paint a stark picture. Ranking near the bottom among all states for healthcare coverage, Texas leaves many without basic medical care. Amidst these challenges, Community Health Centers have emerged as beacons of hope, empowering communities to take charge of their well-being. One such champion is the North Texas Area Community Health Center (NTACHC), a family medical practice dedicated to providing healthcare where it’s needed most.

NTACHC’s commitment goes beyond conventional medical care. It’s a commitment to building a healthier, more resilient community. In the backdrop of Texas’ healthcare challenges, NTACHC stands as a testament to the power of community-driven healthcare.

Empowering Communities with Three Centers

Established with the mission of empowering communities, NTACHC operates three community-centered medical homes: Northside Community Health Center, Southeast Community Health Center, and Arlington Community Health Center. Each one serves as a vital hub, catering to diverse healthcare needs.

The Northside Community Health Center, established in 2002 and relocated to a new building in 2018, is a testament to NTACHC’s growth and commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility. Meanwhile, the Southeast Community Health Center, inaugurated in 2019, exemplifies the center’s expansion to meet the increasing demand. The Arlington Community Health Center, operational since 2015, adds another dimension to NTACHC’s reach.

Comprehensive Healthcare Services for All

NTACHC’s services extend far beyond the conventional. With a focus on Women’s Health, Adult Health, Pediatric Health, and Integrated Family Services, NTACHC provides a holistic approach to healthcare. This commitment ensures that every member of the community, regardless of their circumstances, receives the care they need.

The centers accept a variety of health insurance policies, but their dedication to inclusivity doesn’t stop there. For those without insurance, NTACHC offers a financial assistance program based on a sliding scale, alleviating the costs of medical treatment, prescriptions, and lab tests.
