What is the favorite part of your job? Serving others. I love that get to use the Y as the vehicle to enrich the lives of others and make a difference in the community.

What was your favorite TV show as a kid? The Cosby Show

What is your favorite Netflix or Prime binge? Girlfriends

Road trip or plane trip? Plane

What’s your favorite vacation spot? Anywhere there is the sun and a beach

If you could have any car in the world, what would it be? All black 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby Super Snake

What’s worth paying for? Luxury hotels!

Drink of choice? Daily drink of choice is Kombucha and whiskey if I’m out with friends.

What’s your most treasured possession? My peace

What are you afraid of? That my children won’t turn into kind, caring and successful adults and bugs.

What causes are important to you? Ensuring kids of color have equitable opportunities to be successful, Financial Literacy for people of color, Black Women’s Empowerment

What is your music genre of choice? 90’s R&B

What excites you most about the future? That we still have time to make it anything we want. The future has yet to be written.

What are your must haves on a road trip? Good music, good conversation and a good lip gloss.

What have you recently done for the first time? Visited the Grand Canyon

What do you collect? Vintage French Advertisement Posters

What is your idea of a fun day off? Anything where I get me time! I can find the fun in anything.

What does success look like? I used to think it was all about titles and salary. As I get older, I recognize you don’t need a fancy title to be an advocate for change. I love that I have the ability to influence and develop others, make a difference and have work/life balance.

If you could learn a new skill, what would it be? A second language

Where do you get your inspirations? From my mom. She’s the toughest woman I know and she doesn’t let anything get in her way.

What advice would you give your younger self? Celebrate the wins! You’ve earned them.

What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you? I’m really an introvert
